Why we support Medicare for All

July 30 is the 46th Anniversary of Medicare’s Passage into Law

Come to a discussion on the importance of expanding Medicare to everyone.

When: Sat.  July 30th  at 3:00pm

Where: 255 Ninth St – SF  At ILWU Local 6 Union Hall  (2 blocks south of Market between Howard and Folsom) Nearest to Civic Center BART/MUNI

Why: Because before Medicare in 1964, only 51 percent of Americans 65 and older had health care coverage &  nearly 30 percent of seniors lived below the poverty line.
