I don’t need to tell you how important Medicaid is to people with disabilities, seniors, homecare workers, and our communities. It is the main source of funding for long term care for millions of seniors and people with disabilities including the thousands who receive In Home Supportive Services in CA. Medicaid will be addressed by the Super Committee in DC and we need to say to our Members of Congress and Senators Feinstein and Boxer, and the President: “Medicaid Matters” so leave Medicaid alone! If they block grant Medicaid, thousands of homecare consumers and low income people who depend on Medicaid for their health insurance will lose their health and homecare services. I hope to see you at the rally.
