Why are they coming to California? “Our purpose is to collaborate with California health care advocates in rallying public support for single payer legislation. Such legislation has been passed by the California Senate three times and the Assembly twice but vetoed by Governor Schwarzenegger twice and allowed to die in the Assembly once. We want to be part of a growing public force that moves legislators and the next Governor to do the right thing, approve single-payer health care legislation.”
