Join community members, health activists and occupiers as we rally for the Human Right to Health this May 1st. In solidarity with hundreds of actions taking place across the country in celebration of International Workers’ Day, we invite you to attend a rally & community health fair to stand up for Health Care as a Human Right!
Celebrate International Workers’ Day. Attend a Community Health Fair and Rally/ Speakout for Healthcare is a Human Right! Also, we will have a performance with giant puppets where the working family will DEFEAT the greedy insurance company giant!
Neighbors and community members, concerned activists, anyone and everyone who would like to receive information about how to improve their families &personal health, but also about how to create a sustainable, secure and just healthcare system which provides care to ALL people, and puts the needs of patients over industry greed & profits!
This May Day, we are saying enough is enough-Healthcare for people, not for profit! Healthcare for the 99% in cooperation with our Occupy LA friends will come together to participate in this festive event at Mariachi plaza, which is a rally point on the East Wind, Peoples’ Power Caravan.
