The Vermont Legislature has pioneered a bill creating a path for a universal, publicly funded healthcare system. James Haslam from the Vermont Workers’ Center is coming to California to share their story and inspire Californians to do the same. Donna Smith, featured in the Michael Moore film “Sicko”, is a community organizer and health care activist with the California Nurses Association. Donna will join James on California Health Justice Bus tour this month. Please join with other concerned citizens who are committed to making healthcare available to all Californians!
The California Health Justice Tour is an event to support The California Universal Health Care Act (SB 810) and raise funds for the Vermont Workers’ Center.
Together we can make this happen!
