From June 18 - 20, 2008, the America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) convention will take place at San Francisco's Moscone Center West. Their program on Thursday, June 19 features former US senators John Breaux and Jim Frist, former Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson, former Counselor to President Bush Dan Bartlett and former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Terry McAuliffe. All these speakers oppose legislation - such as California's SB 840 and US HR 676 - that would remove the health insurance industry from our healthcare.
