Unions Speak Out for Healthcare Minus the Insurance Industry

by Robert Stephenson last modified 2008-03-10 04:25 PM

Why have 33 of 50 State Federations of Labor endorsed the HR 676, the United States National Health Insurance Act? Why have 12 International Unions (UAW, NEA, ILWU, NALC, IAM, Plumbers & Pipefitters (UA), Musicians (AFM), UE, CNA/NNOC, SMWIA, IFPTE, OPEIU, & MM&P) endorsed HR 676? HR 676 guarantees healthcare for everyone, is comprehensive, saves money, and makes our health care publicly accountable.
