Single payer healthcare accomplishments of the past year:
- The City of San Francisco passed a Health Care Plan
- The City of San Francisco endorsed SB 840, the California Health Insurance Reliability Act.
- The State Federation of Labor endorsed SB 840.
- The State Legislators passed SB 840 sending a message to the nation that we want a universal health system minus the private insurance industry.
- Over one hundred of our activists organized winning these victories.
